Come to North India where you will see lot of posh life which so different than any other part of India. Driving is diferent in different states. If you are planing your next trip,i think Guilin worth visiting.

Hmmm, I think missing out on Tokyo would not be a good idea. I realize there are only 5 days, but going to Tokyo is just one of those things you have to do when you visit Japan. And in the Tokyo area, there are also beautiful areas in the countryside to visit. You can go to Takao san, Nikko, Kamakura, Izu, etc. And as for food, the best food that I have ever had in Japan is Kagoshima's food in Kyushu. Sooooo good. Black pig shabu shabu and kyushu ramen can't be beat..
We visted Cat Ba Island in Vietnam a couple of years ago and it was amazing- visit there if you have time..
I am likely to head to Phu Quoc for a few days in April. Can anyone give any good advise on where to stay, what to do, how to get there from the Mekong Detla......
Middle East Forums on aardvarktravel.net
I'm considering a holiday in Israel later this year, after the big holidays in September.
I'm not having really good luck looking for guides (as in the person kind, not guidebooks) offering day trips around Bethlehem or Jerusalem or much else. I know they're out there. It might just be me....it may be 2 or 3 of us.
Any suggestions for where to locate individuals or businesses that provide guides to very small groups? I don't want to travel in a mob...but would like someone knowledgeable..
before you teach us arabic, use your english skills to read the warning on advertising in the forums. 8).
you can know much about Egypt but you can know more if you visited it.
I have been fortune enough to travel in the Middle East a fair bit and to be honest Dubai offers very little in the way of Middle Eastern Culture.... however I loved the place!
It's is a great mix of people, beaches and buildings. Though there is extensive building work going on (all seems to have been) the results are pretty amazing with some of the most stunning buildings in the world....the sea and the beaches are pretty good to!
I'm not massively into Water Parks but Wild Wadi, near the Jumeriah Beach Hotel, is a must, it's not everyday you can float on a rubber ring past one of the most amazing hotels structures in the world!
If you look closer you can find some culture. I last stayed in Deira and ate in a couple of local resturants, well not resturants more workmens cafes, but the food was great and very cheap! Watch the beer prices though.
Hello.
Good tips for holidays to Egypt with children's.Egypt is famous for its ancient civilization and some of the world's most famous monuments, including the Giza pyramid complex and its Great Sphinx. The southern city of Luxor contains numerous ancient artifacts, such as the Karnak Temple and the Valley of the Kings. Egypt is widely regarded as an important political and cultural nation of the Middle East..
Hi,
Turkey is where East meets West and it is just this variety that makes move in Turkey then exciting.Turkey holidays give you the opportunity to experience a fantastic clash of cultures were Europe and the west meet Asia. Holidays in Turkey provide you with long humid summers that are like a honey pot to the holidaymaker, many of which return here year after year, who come to enjoy the fabulous beaches, warm inviting seas and friendly holiday atmosphere..
Hi, I will be coming to Vancouver in April and need a car for 10days or 2weeks. The problem is that I am only 20 and none of the major Rentals appear to rent cars to people under 21 or 25? Do you know any places in Vancouver that do such a rent?
Thanks.
I think that I would try to avoid Yeman at the moment..
Try the flight search tool on this site UK Dubai Flights they show who flies from the UK, all airports, to Dubai and lets you find the cheapest flights for the days you want. Not only to dubai but to anywhere from all the UK arports..
I also want to try Ski Dubai at the Dubai Mall.. So how do you find it? frightening?
Frightening? What are you referring to? The SkiDubai experience? It was not scary at all if you have been skiing before. But note that you can also take a ski school :-).
It's a desert, but what a desert! A rather flat desert floor surrounded by towering spires and odd looking rock formations. The light at sunset and sunrise will help any slacker photo-tourist to get into Japanese multi-exposure shutter mode.
There are a few bedouine camps where you can spend the night. I stayed at the Sunset Camp run by Mohammed Sabah Al-Zalabeh.
Reading the Daily Mirror and they had a feature on Eliat in Israel . I had an interest in Israel as its such a melting pot but this article has only heightened my interest further with whats available. Camel Rides in the desert, ferry to Jordan, regular connections to Jerusalem... lots more besides. Anyone know anything more about it?
I agree the countries is a melting pot.
Jerusalam is a special city for Muslims, christian and Jews alike.
I have been to jordon and wanted to go to this speacial city from jordon but for security reason they had closd the border for 2 days.
The ony thing that puts me of travelling to Israel is security.... this is no joke, even their embassy has the same concerns, now of they have these concerns there is defo an issue there.
I have many muslim, christian and jewish friends, all are fantastic people, i just can not see why the area has such a high security issue when all the people i now are so fantastic.
Hi
I am wanting to visit a friend in Dubai and am wondering if there are any budget airlines that travel there and if not, am i better off buying direct from an airline, calling a teletext company, or buying online somewhere!
I'd appreciate any help and direction
Gaz.
Depending on where you are going in Saudi Arabia. Jeddah (the port city) Ryiadh, you sould be fine as long as you have a male companion with you. Makkah i think you only enter if you are a muslim. Ryiadh is very grand with hugh malls and office buildings and large cantts,,, area secluded and secure for non national working in Kingdom.
and as a female you have to keep yourself covered. Saudi also have a few islamic festivals and lots of people travel to saudi each year. and some twons and area get very crowded at certain times of the year. check the local guide before travelling..
[quote:8f909e8b13="Babakoto"]Hi,
this summer we want to travel overland from Iran to Pakistan (from Zahedan to Quetta). Does anybody has recent experiences crossing this border (safety).
many thanks.
Edwin[/quote:8f909e8b13]
Both countries you want to travel to is a BIG NO NO at the moment. Let the situation get better (war in afganistan ends) , than these area will be a lot more stable and secure to travel and explore..
I would advise again it righ now... The country is going through some mico crisis right now. i would advise to sit back for 6 months and keep a close eye on the UAE data. Once you know the crisis is over than go in and as visitor coming from the west you will not have issue gettin a job. Currently many people are leaving Dubai for greener pastures..
Spending Christmas in the middle east away from home can be rough, has anyone got any tips on how to get through it in a country that doesn't celebrate it? Some people prefer to get away from home for Christmas, so please tell what you do - any advice?.
The only port in Jordan, and the only access to the Red Sea with it's beautiful corals and fish. Its four hours drive from Amman, has lots of hotels and diving centers. It was used as a port at the time of the Nabataeans, and ships even from China used to bring goods to its port, Aqaba now is an economical free zone, being a tax free zone makes it unexpensive for shopping..
There are some new organization in the North of Israel who offer a responsible tourism:
Responsible for the environment and for the cultures and local communities.
If you plan to visit Israel for 10 days trip you should spend atleast 3 nights at the Galilee which is much more interesting then any other part of Israel.
Jerusalem has the great history and Tel Aviv has the great beach but both of them cannot match the diversity of landscapes , cultures , sites , activities and accommodation.
You should know that while in Galilee no one sleeps in Hotels but in Zimmer cabins (more beautiful and luxurious) or guesthouses (cheaper and better atmosphere)
the Land of Galilee is waiting for you..
Oh dear... I read the article too, indeed quite shocking :/ But again, I guess it's impossible to make everyone happy... :(.
